We're going on a bear hunt。。。We're going to catch a big one。。。We're not scared！This book is about a brave family who have decided to adventure through a forest， a snowstorm and fields all in hopes to catch a glimpse of a bear！ Whilst on their journey， they fall upon some obstacles （oh no！） which sparks the reader to think 'will the family catch the bear？'， 'Will the bear catch them？'， 'Should I pack an extra sandwich for the bear？'。This classic story has become one of my favourites over the last We're going on a bear hunt。。。We're going to catch a big one。。。We're not scared！This book is about a brave family who have decided to adventure through a forest， a snowstorm and fields all in hopes to catch a glimpse of a bear！ Whilst on their journey， they fall upon some obstacles （oh no！） which sparks the reader to think 'will the family catch the bear？'， 'Will the bear catch them？'， 'Should I pack an extra sandwich for the bear？'。This classic story has become one of my favourites over the last few years working in education。 It's a book that can be used throughout EYFS and the Key Stages- all you have to do is adapt certain aspects such as your tone， voice， expression and speed to fit your audience。 To get the most out of the book， I recommend embracing your inner Rosen performing skills！In early years， the children I work with are familiar with the sing-along tune that I intertwine on to the words and often we will sing this book together whilst acting out the expressions and actions for each obstacle faced by the characters。 This book is fantastic for learning positional language， developing expression and a good reminder that reading is more than just words on a page but rather a gateway to another world of imagination and limitless possibilities 。。。more
