I like how the baby on the dads shoulders keeps squishing the dads face on every page, very excellent baby thing to do。 “What a beautiful day! We're going on a bear hunt。。。We're going to catch a big one。。。We're not scared! This book is about a brave family who have decided to adventure through a forest, a snowstorm and fields all in hopes to catch a glimpse of a bear! Whilst on their journey, they fall upon some obstacles (oh no!) which sparks the reader to think 'will the family catch the bear?', 'Will the bear catch them?', 'Should I pack an extra sandwich for the bear?'。This classic story has become one of my favourites over the last We're going on a bear hunt。。。We're going to catch a big one。。。We're not scared! This book is about a brave family who have decided to adventure through a forest, a snowstorm and fields all in hopes to catch a glimpse of a bear! Jake Goretzki,
Rosen plagiarised this from an American campfire song, and has dined out on it ever since。Considering he tossed it off in fifteen minutes before lunch (and considering that the lion's share of it is actually the illustration, rather than his banal doggerel) the anti-capitalist, pester-powered, parental guilt-tripping millionaire has done rather well out of it。 Rosen plagiarised this from an American campfire song, and has dined out on it ever since。Considering he tossed it off in fifteen minutes before lunch (and considering that the lion's share of it is actually the illustration, rather than his banal doggerel) the anti-capitalist, pester-powered, parental guilt-tripping millionaire has done rather well out of it。 。。。more

As good as children's books get。 The standard to measure against。 The best of its kind。 The only one that comes close is The Hungry Caterpillar。 However this tops it just。 Its an absolute vibe。 Find myself still well over 20 years on still singing this in me head on a good hike。 Can't go over it, can't go under it! You just can't beat a bear hunt I'm afraid。 Excellent work。 A masterpiece。 As good as children's books get。 The standard to measure against。 The best of its kind。 The only one that comes close is The Hungry Caterpillar。 However this tops it just。 Its an absolute vibe。 Find myself still well over 20 years on still singing this in me head on a good hike。 Can't go over it, can't go under it!

The book has a repetitive kind of song quality to it that the children will learn quickly and probably will start to say as the adult reads the book。 The book has a lot of action words of different sounds the children may hear when they walk through different things like water or mud。 The book helps the children understand that they can't go over things like the forest or under things like the mud you have to go through them。 The book has a repetitive kind of song quality to it that the children will learn quickly and probably will start to say as the adult reads the book。 The book has a lot of action words of different sounds the children may hear when they walk through different things like water or mud。 The book helps the children understand that they can't go over things like the forest or under things like the mud you have to go through them。 。。。more

Squeezing the life out of this classic story comes a version with the most pixelated sounds I’ve ever heard! A sore thumb on our bookshelf and lasted about three reads before it broke。 Off to the dump it goes!
Makenzie VanderHorst,
This was my favorite when I was little。 I always loved the art, the poetic and rythmic story, and the feel of the thick pages。
Megan,
One of my favourite children's books! This book is amazing when reading aloud and can also be used outside to incorporate some drama where children act out each scene。 Great for getting all children involved。 One of my favourite children's books! Review of my 3rd kids books on this April Fools month :DMy grandson had a fantastic activity day at his playschool。 The teachers created materials along the storyline of this book for the kids to have a bear hunt day enjoyment。 The kids were thrilled ( They walked on ice to "feel" like walking in a snowstorm - cool eh? We got this from the library a few times when mine were small。 It was a nice enough story, the children I have read this too weren’t afraid of bears so couldn’t quite get into the full spirit of the story。 When we got a dog we started picking up poos in the garden and started joking about this book, nobody wanted to do it so we turned it into a game, points based on how many you could find, ‘We’re all going on a poo-hunt, we’re not scared, sorry Michael。 It popped into my head this morning whils We got this from the library a few times when mine were small。 It was a nice enough story, the children I have read this too weren’t afraid of bears so couldn’t quite get into the full spirit of the story。 When we got a dog we started picking up poos in the garden and started joking about this book, nobody wanted to do it so we turned it into a game, points based on how many you could find, ‘We’re all going on a poo-hunt, we’re not scared, sorry Michael。 It popped into my head this morning whilst I was out with the spade。 。。。more

In this book, we follow along on a journey a family takes。 The family faces many obstacles on the way and has to find alternate routes。 They end up running into a big bear and have to go back the way they came from to get away! I've loved this book since I was a kid。 I remember my teacher used to read it to us in a sing song voice and we'd pat our laps。 I'd love to introduce this story to my class and follow as my teacher once did。 In this book, we follow along on a journey a family takes。 The family faces many obstacles on the way and has to find alternate routes。 They end up running into a big bear and have to go back the way they came from to get away! I just like how the book is fun and full of adventures and children love dramatic play and this a great way to do it。 I like playing the song while reading the story to the children and it gives me them a imagination feel like we are on a actual hunt。

This book is a fun way to interact with the students and the students to interact with their families。 A place where a family experiences adventures in different places going through obstacles while teaching children never to give up even if it's scary, simply remember to face the unknown with courage and turn back around and go again。 As an activity teachers and families can create the same path in the backyards or classrooms and create a sound activity, too。 There are so many things you can do This book is a fun way to interact with the students and the students to interact with their families。 A place where a family experiences adventures in different places going through obstacles while teaching children never to give up even if it's scary, simply remember to face the unknown with courage and turn back around and go again。 As an activity teachers and families can create the same path in the backyards or classrooms and create a sound activity, too。 There are so many things you can do from this book。 I will forever have this on my bookshelf。 。。。more
